Fundraising Events for Polio
Thursday, February 12th, 2009With the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s recent announcement to donate an additional $255 million to RI’s efforts to eradicate (in addition to the initial $100 million), many Rotary Clubs are doing more and more to help match these grants with local/club fundraising efforts. The Rotary Club of Green Bay is holding an event on Wed., March 4 to help, including a show by Let Me Be Frank Productions and a silent auction (email joycemccollum@sbcglobal.net for tickets). Is this a worthwhile event or are the better/different options to raise dollars for polio?
