Welcome to the Rotary Club of Green Bay! Our club is just one of over 34,000 Rotary clubs in almost every country around the world. Rotary International is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million men and women dedicated to the ideal of Service Above Self.

Rotary clubs are open to people of all ages, cultures, and ethnicities. We are not affiliated with any political or religious organizations. The Rotary Club of Green Bay is comprised of local business and professional leaders that provide humanitarian service in both our local area and in communities around the globe.

One of the Rotary Club of Green Bay’s local community projects is “Ben Wish.” Every Thursday afternoon during the school year our club members pack over 150 backpacks at Jefferson Elementary School so that children have healthy food to eat over the weekend. There are nine hyper poverty schools in the Green Bay area and we hope to add additional schools to the “Ben’s Wish” program in the future. In addition, we raise the funds to purchase the food for the backpacks in collaboration with three other local area Rotary Clubs.

Our club members travel to countries around the world to lend a hand. We have given polio immunizations in India and built cisterns to provide clean water for villages in Africa. We partner with local Rotary clubs on the ground in other countries on these and future projects. We welcome Rotarians from around the world to visit our community, our local businesses, in order to learn about life in Northeastern Wisconsin. Our clubs sponsor a high school exchange student and we are thrilled this year to have Rafael, who is from Argentina.

The Rotary Club of Green Bay meets every Monday at noon at the Hyatt on Main. Along with lunch and networking, there is a short business meeting, and a speaker. Our meetings typically last for approximately one hour to allow members to return to their workday. We welcome new members and suggest the best way to learn about Rotary is to attend one of our club meetings.
